USQ joins next-gen mission to explore skies above alien worlds

A recent media article by Space Connect linked here announces Australia’s involvement in the upcoming Twinkle satellite launch through the University of Southern Queensland’s Centre for Astrophysics.

According to PhD researcher Nataliea Lowson who’s involved in the upcoming mission, “Twinkle will give us insight into atmospheric features using infrared spectrometers that analyse light transmitted through, and emitted or reflected by, the skies above these planets.”
